Effect Pigments for Powder Coatings

Effect pigments from Merck not only ensure a high-quality design, but also create technical and economical advantages. The pigments developed especially for powder coating applications allow a simple dry mixing and create a perfectly coated surface. A second coating to protect the pigments from weather influences becomes unnecessary when using the weatherproof pigments from Merck. They are characterized by an excellent resistance to all types of environmental influences. In addition to our Iriodin® products, Merck offers special preparations for use in powder coating: the Iriodin® PC types. In order to significantly reduce infrared drying times of light colored coatings, we have developed Minatec® 230 A-IR.
